While it does have LBP, it is way too expensive to just go out and buy for that one casual game when you can get a Wii for half the price and get a huge library of casual games with a fun way of playing the games.

Yep Ps3 dominated Europe it's fair to say.
In my opinion, it seems to be mainland Europe where the Ps3 has more appeal than the 360. If you look at the sales numbers, UK and Ireland are the only countries where the 360 sells more and it's pretty much because our 2 countries are the most Americanised countries in Europe.
I still wub mah Ps3 and 360 equally though ^_^

If you're truly hardcore then you won't be spending that much time on the dashboard anyway. Just set your 360 to boot to game and then use the in-game guide instead as it is based on the blades you love so much.

I'm gonna take Mass Effect as an example here, but at a certain level in the game when the planet is being attacked, you can either choose Kaiden or Ashley to save. If you choose Kaiden then you get the emotional response from Ashley which can be upsetting..on the other hand if you pick Ashley, you get some bom chicka wow wow
While I've never cried over a movie or a game, I have felt sad when a character dies or something bad happens to them. Ask any gamer from any side.

Ps3 fans would've felt sad and emotionally attached to Big Boss in MGS4 dieing and Xbox 360 fans would've felt the same about Cortana being tortured by the gravemind or Miranda and Johnson dieing.

I like Blu-Ray and all but how is it the most complete format ever? In that respect, HD DVD won.
The Blu-Ray spec isn't even finished yet so those who bought BD Players last year or even in the last few months won't be able to get the full experience on new BDs.
yay! I just started working in MS this week and I had a go of GOW2 beta build... Couldn't play campaign but from a graphics + multiplayer + horde point of view, it was legendary!
I'll also be buying LBP too and you know why? Because it's a totally different game..
